About:Apply for China Visa in a Third Country

I am an Indian passport holder residing in Saudi Arabia would like to visit China next week. Is there any problem to apply in chinese embassy here(Saudi Arabia)? If I want to visit Hong Kong also shall I get visa from here itself? Howlong Icould stay? Multiple entry visit visa is allowed?

You can apply for China visa in Saudi Arabia if you can provide a photocopy of a valid residence permit in Saudi Arabia. The general processing time is 4 working days. In addition, as an Indian passport holder, you do not need visa to Hong Kong for 14 days. If you will stay there longer than 14 days, a visa is required. Hong Kong visa can also be applied from Saudi Arabia Embassy, the process of applying a Hong Kong visa will at least need 20 working days.
