About:Policy for Foreigners with Immediate Family Living in China

Hello, I've been staying in Guangzhou for 5 years under short visas (F & L), and I'm married with a Guangzhou local woman since 2 years now. I Applied twice for the spouse residence permit of 1 year (with all documents required), but I only got granted a single entry L visa of 90 days (twice). The officer told me that I only can apply for this permit after 6 consecutive months stay inside mainland. and then acceptance is not always 100% sure.
Did anyone in Guangdong province got this 1 year spouse resident permit yet ?
Any help, suggestions or exprience would be very welcomed.
Thanks.

Mr.RED, I advise you to find a job in Guangzhou by using the single-entry visa of 90 days, then exit Mainland China to apply for a Work Visa (Z) in your home country or in Hong Kong, then return to Guangzhou by using your Z visa, you should change it into 1 year residence permit for work at the Guangzhou Exit & Enter Department under Public Security Bureau within 30 days after entering China.

1 year residence permit for work is better than 1 year spouse residence permit
