Either to Sanya or Haikou, there are no direct trains available from Guilin. But you could take train to Guangzhou first and then to Haikou by another train, which is a little detouring. Besides, direct coaches and flights are operating on the two routes. And it costs around 1.5hrs by flight while more than 16hrs by bus.
