About:China Embassy in Thailand

Hi,
I need an tourist visa to China. I have a US passport.
If I turn my application in on the 31th of January can I get my passport with visa back on the 1st of February? The office is closed from 2nd - 8th? The office hours are only 9am - 11:30am? Do I have to register online first or anything?

You have to apply for express service by paying extra 8,00 Bahts, then you can get your passport with visa on Feb 1 if you submit visa application on Jan 31. It's true that the embassy is closed from Feb 2- 8. The office hours are 09:00-11:30, you don't need to register online first, please go to the embassy directly.
