Dear Sirs,We have a ticket to Being from Bangkok the 3rd of May 2011, leaving for Sweden at the 17th of May 2011. We will be in Bangkok around the 15 february 2011 and wants to apply for visa at the China embassy at this time.Is it too early to apply for Visa (14 days touristvisa) at this time?Best regards,Ingvor Farinotte

A single-entry China tourist visa is only valid for three months,  if you apply for China visa on 15th February 2011, the visa will be valid till 15th May, 2011, you have to enter Mainland China before 24:00 on 15th May, 2011. It is Ok for you to go to Beijing from Bangkok on 3rd May 2011. The 14 days stay duration is counted from the date of entry.
