About:China Visa on Arrival

Hi.
During my present trip, a mid-stop is intended for a couple of days in Beijing.
Usually, this would require an inquire of Chinese visa?
However, recently a friend of mine flew to Japan and made an one day stop in Beijing.
For this stay, visa was arrangeable on arrival at the airport.
Will this be an option for my stay, and if so, for how many days can one stay?
Thank you.

It is not an option for your stay because you will stop in Beijing for a couple of days. You can get one day stay permit for less than 24 hours stopover in Beijing airport.
