About:China Visa

My single entry business visa will expire before I am able to travel (due to delays in schedule). Do I need to get a fresh Visa Notification Letter to get a new visa/ extend the old one? I hold a GHANA passport but am resident in UK.

You need to get a fresh Visa Notification Letter to get a new visa. Now the Visa Notification Letter has been substituted by "Invitation Letter of Duly Authorized Unit" or "Confirmation Letter of Invitation"
