About:China Travel Tips

Hello,

thank you for your reply earlier about travelling to China around National Day holiday. I understand it could be very busy : is the situation the same for big cities like Beijing & Shanghai or it would be ok to travel from Beijing toward Xian/Kunming/Guilin/Yangshuo , sometimes between 2nd and 8th October 2011, then to Shanghai till the 14th October , then few more days in Beijing before the return to France on 19th ?

Yes, it will be more crowded in the tourist cities like Beijing, Shanghai, Xian, Kunming, Yangshuo during the festival. I advise you just change your plan to the second week of October or late September.
