My friend and I will be on attachment to the Wuhan Institute Virology, located at Xiao Hong Shan No.44.

Greatly appreciate advice on whether it is advisable to stay in hotels like Shangri La or Novotel,in terms of travelling distance to the institute, cost of taxi to commute daily to the institute and the time to get there.
