About:Marriage Registration in China

I HEARD THAT I YOU GET MARRY WITH A CHINESE CITIZEN YOU JUST CAN GET ONLY 3 MONTH
VISA? IS THIS TRUE?
OR THERE ARE DIFFERENT RULES OF DIFFERENT CHINESE PROVINCE?

The rule applies differently in different provinces, if you get marry with a Chinese citizen and she lives in China, it is possible for you to apply for a one year residence permit for family visit
