About:China Work Visa

My friend from Philippines was working in Dongguan for 13 years since 1997.She was shocked when she heard from her international USA-employer based in Dongguan that she has to stop her work because of old age of 57 years old.According to her USA-based employer in Dongguan, the Dongguan government does not want to issue a corresponding "Alien Employment Permit" for her anymore because of her age is morethan 57 already. Is this true..Pls advise..Thanks/Rgds, Mar

Hi Mar;
The issue still depends on her employer. There are workers I've known for a logn time who are even more than 60 but they're still working here... it depends on the employer. I myself is at that age too...
