About:Passport

Hi, I just want to ask about my green passport, I got robbed and I had lost it I want to get a new one but I did not know if it still valid or not, how many years the green passport until valid?I think I had it since year 2006.please kindly give me an answer.

The green passport is valid for 10 years, it is valid till the year of 2016 if it is issued in 2006. Now, you can apply for a new Machine Readable Passport. The Green Passport will be gradually substituted by Machine Readable Passport
