About:China Visa

Hi,

I would like to ask if the E-1 form from SSS would be valid instead of the ID card since there was a discrepancy on my name and yet the processing period to correct the error takes 2-3 weeks. My flight schedule will be this coming Feb 13, 2011 for a business trip in Shanghai and Beijing. Please I need help.

The E-1 Form from SSS can't substitute the SSS ID and contributions, otherwise, your application will be denied, now, the visa rule for Filipinos are very very strict.

so meaning they can't grant me a tourist visa even my company shoulder all the expenses during my stay in china for 10 days?

Just this morning I went through the whole process and thank God they accepted my application for visa and I was given a pink copy of pick-up form. Does this mean that they grant me a VISA?

It doesn't mean that the embassy will grant you a visa. Maybe on the pick up date, you will collect your passport without a China visa. Good Luck! I hope you can get a visa to China
