Thanks Simon for your reply. Do not own a down coat. Is thermal under T-shirt, top up with fleece and a water and wind proof shell warm enough for a negative 2C to 10C? Snowing expected during this time. Many Thanks!

I don't think it's enough, you have to add a wool sweater in between.
