Can we get to Lu Mountain from Lushan railway station? We have booked the Mt Lu Nature International Youth Hostelling Hubei Road Lu Mountain Jiangxi and will need to take public bus

Yes, but the transport is a little complicated. You can take a chartered bus by costing around CNY80 or take public bus to the Coach Station in Jiujiang County first and then take a bus to Lu Mountain. However, there are many buses to Lu Mountain from the nearest bust station to Jiujiang Railway Station. And Lu Mountain Nature International Youth Hostel is located on the Lu Mountain.
