About:Chinese Embassy in Nigeria

Hello there, I have an invitation letter from a business partner in China who I intend to visit after the Spring Festival sometime around mid February 2011. My questions are -

(1) What is the difference between the invitation letter issued by my potential business partner and the Confirmation Letter of Invitation stated above?

(2) At the Chinese Consulate in Lagos, which office or officer(s) do I ask for when submitting my application form?

Thank you

Dayo

Dear Mr Dayo.
Invitation letter issued by your customer may be company invitation letter while confirmation letter is issude by the government authority here in china (Bureau).Confirmation letter from Bureau is only letter which can gurante your application for visa.
Apply for visa at chinese consulate office in lagos can be done while you book appointment, which will give you a date for your document's submission.

Actually, you need a invitation letter from China Municipal Bureau of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation. The one from your partner may not sufficient for visa application. You can submit your visa application to visa office of Chinese consulate in Lagos.
