About:China Embassy in Thailand

I have a Canadian Passport and will be visiting Shanghai in May, my stay in Shanghai will be less then 48 hours. As a Canadian do I need a visa if staying less then 48 hours in Shanghai.

Visa is not required if you transit through Pudong Airport or Hongqiao Airport of Shanghai for less than 48 hours. So, you should provide valid passport and flight ticket for leaving from Shanghai.
