Hi, we are planning on visiting Xian from May 17-19, I was just wondering what is the best place to go to see panda's?

There is no pandas in Xian. So, you can get to Chengdu from Xian. It is 12-16 hours by train, or you can take flight. If Beijing is in your travel plan, you can see pandas in Beijing Zoo.

There are pandas in Louguantai Scenic Area in Zhouzhi county, suburbs of Xian. You can go there while visiting Xian.

Ms. Rose, how do I get to the Louguantai Scenic Area in Zhouzhi county? Is there a bus or do you have to take a taxi? Also do you know how long it takes to get there from downtown Xian and approxiately how much it would cost?
