About:Dual Nationality

Hi Mr.James ,
1.I refer to your reply 2011/01/17 21:38
Shall i go to the malaysia consulate to get the malaysian citizen first and then cancel the chinese citizen at local police station??.

2.If he is Malaysian citizen now, how he is going to stay in china? type of visa he should apply? in between how long he need to get the visa?( i am currently working in shanghai for local company with the allien permit holder,my wife is shanghainess )

3. The moment he is travel out of the china, can he use the visa that we applied for him to enter again the china.

1. You will lose your Chinese citizenship automatically after you get your Malaysian citizenship.
2. There is different types of Chinese visa for different travel purposes to China. Usually, you have to apply for a new visa every 30 days.
3. I think he can.
