About:China Visa on Arrival

My family (4) plan to stop over in Beijing for holiday for a week while we travel from Vancouver to Bangkok in this summer Jun 2011. Planning to apply visa on arrival at the airport, we hold New Zealand Passports.

re: read above info "Most nationalities of the following countries can easily get a visa on arrival in Shenzhen, such as Australia, Canada, New Zealand, ..." I understand it seems no problem to do so. Am I right?

How much for appling VOA at Beijing airport and do they accept VISA/Master card?

Would appreciate if you could confirm my confident. Thank you

No, sir, Shenzhen is different for its visa policy since it is an Special Economic Zone in China. Shenzhen visa can only allow you to stay in Shenzhen for 5 days. If you want to visit Beijing for a week, you need to apply for a China tourist visa in advance through Chinese embassy in NZ or in country where you reside/work.
