Hi! I am living in Taiwan, and wanna visit my family in Poland in summer. I found very cheap ticket from Shanghai, so I would like to make sure if I can first fly to Shanghai from Taipei, enter China in Shanghai without visa, just with my confirmed ticket to Poland, and and get on another flight in 48 hours..? Just wanna make sure what that transit means..? Is this 48-hours rules apllying in case of two separrated flights, or just for one flight with transfer in Shanghai..? Hope someone can make it clear.
Regards
P.

Glad to read that! So it means that as long as I have an outbound ticket to third country (or territory), I still I can enter Shanghai without visa, and then get on another flight to my country. I understand, that I can do this same on my way back to Taiwan..?

No visa is required if you hold valid passport and ticket to Poland. And you can take two separate flights.
