Hi, I am a student in University of Manitoba. I lose my passoport, so I am planning to apply a new passport on Feb 2, I already bought the fight ticket. then, one of my professor reschedules a test on Feb 3, then he needs a letter of appointment that prove the passport reapply.otherwise I will get zero on it.  But we donnt need to make a appointment to apply, so can you send me a letter of appointment?

Ms.Peng, it's true that the appointment is not required for Chinese passport application. This is not the official website of China consulate in Toronto. Even the consular official of the consulate knows your situation, it is impossible for him/her to issue an appointment letter. Why does your prefessor need your passport, and get zero on it without passport?
