There is no direct bus from HKIA to Shantou, you have to get to Concourse Hotel at Mong Kong first, and take a bus from there. Or you can take a bus from the airport to Luohu port of Shenzhen, and then take a bus from Luohu bus station. There are more buses from Luohu to Shantou daily, so I advise you choose the latter way.0
