About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates
Received your reply re needing a visa to visit Shanghai for a day aboard a cruise liner in March. I presented myself to the Chinese embassy in Canbera on(20th) Thursday morning with my application , photos the whole thing only to be told that I did not need a visa to go to Shanghai if I am not staying more than 48 hours. Which is the correct answer as I taveled for more than 6 hours on Thursday only to come home again with nothing and then to receive this e mail saying I need a visas. What is the correct answer?????
