About:Chinese Embassy in Denmark

I have a daughter who will be 18 in May 2011. She would like to visit a family in Wuxi for three or four weeks around July 2011. I know the family whom I have met during business travel in 2007 and 2008.
Will she need a written invitation from that family?
I will cover her cost while staying i China. Is it enough to fill the Visa application form to declare this or do I have to write a signed letter that will be sebmitted with the Visa application?
Thanks
Johan Jermiin

She had better get a written invitation from that family, you write a signed letter that you will cover her cost, then the visa officer will know that she can burden the expense of travelling in China and a family in Wuxi will meet her.

You can apply for China tourist visa for your daughter in late March or early April for the trip on 18th May, 2011.
