About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

Im working in korea and I want to visit beijing for 1 day for a surprise birthday. What steps should I take so that I wont mess up my work visa?

Do you have Korean Alien Registration Card with at least 6 months validity? If you have it, please apply for China Tourist Visa through a travel agency designated by China embassy in Seoul, if your Korean ARC doesn't have 6 months validity, you can apply for China Tourist Visa through a travel agency designated by China consulate in Busan.
