About:China Embassy in Thailand

I am a USA Citizen and have been on business in China for the past 3 years, with an F Visa. Recently, we have delayed our business until late Spring, so I have been staying here with an L Visa. Time to get a new Visa and I plan to visit Bangkok on January 25th. Is it possible to get a new L Visa when in Bangkok and avoid a trip to Hong Kong, to get a new Visa.

Thank You

Generally speaking, it is easy for USA citizens to get a China L visa in Bangkok, the old F visa on your passport is very helpful for your visa application.
