About:Getting to Dongguan

If im arriving in HK airport in Terminal 2, can i actually go to the main terminal to catch a ferry in Main Terminal? Any idea on the cab fair from HK airport Terminal 2 to Changping?

Yeah, you can walk to the Skypier to take ferry.
I advise you to take the shuttle bus from HK airprot to Changping. It operates from 07:00 to 22:20 on a frequent interval. It costs about HKD180/200.
