Hello!

My family of 4 will be going to Hong Kong during mid March. We are thinking of visiting the Big Buddha in the morning on one of the days.

1. May I know the directions to get to the Big Buddha by bus? We do not want to take the cable car.

2. How much will it cost by bus?

3. How much will it cost to go up the Big Buddha?

4. How long will I need to visit this attraction? As I am planning to do shopping in the afternoon at Mongkok Area.

Thanks alot!

You can take lantus bus 23 from Tung Chung to Ngong Ping 360 to see the Giant Buddha. It costs about HKD17.2 on weekdays and HKD27 on weekends. It takes about 45 minutes.

One morning is enough to visit the buddha and Ngong Ping 360.
