I have applied for chinese study visa with all the relevant documents and completed all the requirements of attestation etc... but when I went to the embassy for submitting my application the Officer after looking at my passport told me that there is not much time left in my passport... I clarify him that my passport is valid for 7-8 months and I have heard that passport must be at least valid for six months.. but he told me that as I am going for one year program so my passport should be valid for more than this... I requested him but he returned my documents and passport saying that make a new passport with enough validity and come back...
furthermore, I have applied for my passport renewal and it will take sometime,, but the JW202 form has my old passport number and the new passport no will be different from that by one digit.... I asked some peoples and they say that you affix both your passport and apply with the same JW202 form that have your old passport no..
I am very confused and tensed as my classes starts very soon, what should I do? plz guide appropriately....
