About:Dual Nationality

1>I myself is a Malaysian , my wife is shanghainess, china and my kids give birth in shanghai and obtain the 上海户口 and with the Identification number, is he consider a china citizhen?
2>If said so , how am i going to convert the citizhenship to malaysian.
a)shall i do the cancellation in shanghai or my homeland( malaysia)?
b)what the neceassary documents should i prepare for cancellation ?
c)any department shall i looking for assistance ? any contact no ?

Yes, he is considered to be a Chinese citizen. You can cancel his nationality at local police station and then go to the consulate general of Malaysia in Shanghai to register as a Malaysian citizen with your passport and your wife's passport, birth paper of the baby. They will tell you how to fill the application and handle related documents.
