About:China Flight

Hi. 2 questions:
1) I am arriving on a domestic flight from Chengdu (Sichuan Airlines) which lands at 09:40 and I have to make a BA flight to LHR that departs at 11:15. Is there enough time for this connection or will I have to really hurry!?
2) At Chengdu airport, can I check my bag through to my final destination at LHR if I am using Sichuan Airines domestically and then BA internationally?

Thank you for any help on this.

Maybe 1hr and 15mins is a little pressing for transfer. However, if there are no flight delays, it should be no problem. For your second question, have you got a through ticket? If not, normally, you are still required to check your luggage at Chengdu Airport for your flight to LHR. Anyway, you may consult the airlines for the details.

Thank you for your prompt reply.
Re: my 2nd question. I have 2 separate tickets (purchased separately). 1st one is CTU-PEK (Sichuan Airlines) and 2nd one is PEK-LHR (BA). I just wanted to know whether at CTU I can check my bag all the way through to LHR so as to help me transfer between airlines quickly without worrying about collecting my bag at PEK and checking it in again. I hope this makes sense.

It seems that you still need to check your luggage at PEK one more time as you are holding two separate tickets. Anyway, you would better consult the airlines for details.
