generally, Chinese embassy will close on April 5 for Tomb-Sweeping Festival. But if you will apply for Chinese visa(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/embassy/visa.htm) , you'd better keep on checking the holiday notice released on its official website for sure because some Chinese embassies/consulates will be closed on different dates during public holidays.
