I attended a Bethoven Piano concert in Gulangyu Island 10 years ago. I was awed by the density of grand pianos in a lot of old homes in this island. there is a piano festival held on gulangyu Island every two years, and the 5th one was held in 2010, then the next one will be held in 2012. However, you still have the chance to enjoy piano performance in 2011, since there is a piano museum and 5 music halls there as well.
