What is the best way to travel from Wuhan to Hong Kong? Can it be done by train?

There are direct flights daily between Wuhan and Hong Kong. By train, you have to make a transfer at Guangzhou. For example, you could take a high speed-G train to Guangzhou first and then take a train or bus to Hong Kong.
