About:China Customs Declaration

I bought things from China, I am told I have to pay customs declaration fees. Is this real?? How can I pay customs declaration fess from Zambia

It is related with ways of delivery and your contract with the buyers. For example for DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) the seller would pay for the customs declaration fee and you have to pay the tax only. If there is negotiation that you have to pay for the fee, you can talk with the seller if you can pay for the custom declaration fees together with the payment for the goods.
