I'll be going to Taiwan frm 30 Sept-09 Oct 2011, what kind of weather will i be expecting and will meet with any typhoon?
During this period of time should be able to get summer clothes?

It is the typhoon season at that time in Taiwan. You may meet frequent rianfall and need to prepare a raincoat or umbrella.
The temperature will be about 22~31C, thus you may feel a little hot in the day. Summer clothes are easy to find during this season.
