About:Chinese Consulate in Toronto

I am Canadian, I will travel to Hong Kong on March. My return flight ticket want to via Beijing to Toronto within same afternoon. Do I need transit visa application.

You don't need Chinese Transit Visa(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/embassy/visa/transit.htm) if you won't leave Beijing airport and the layover is less than 24 hours
