Question

I am in new delhi and am required to travel to china for my company's sales conference. I have confirmed air tickets for 12:00am on 16-01-2011(Sunday).Hence I need the visa by tomorrow evening as 15th is a saturday. Is it possible to get visa in a single day as I will apply tomorrow morning. Also need advise on whether I can submit all docs and passport at China Embassy Delhi directly tomorrow morning or through VFS. I already have a chinese visa dated Jan 2009 on my passport.

It is impossible for you to get visa on the same day of application. You need to submit all documents and passport to the CVASC in New Delhi rather than China embassy. China embassy in New Delhi doesn't accept direct visa application from oridinary passport holders unless you make an appointment with the embassy online through its official website. The CVASC needs at least 2 working days for visa processing even though you apply for express service. I'm afraid that you have to delay your flight.
