About:Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka

I had been to China more than 6 times last year and I import goods from there. But embassy asked a visa notice so I told my partner in China.
He tried to get visa notice but they said they stop issued those after Asia Games. They didn't tell when they start to issue it again.
Could you please tell how to apply the visa and when they start to issue the visa notice.

This is a piece of news:
From January 1st, 2011, all applications for Business (F) or Working (Z) visas to China should be supported by the "Invitation Letter of Duly Authorized Unit" or "Confirmation Letter of Invitation" instead of the "Visa Notification Form". The "Visa Notification Form" will be void by December 31st, 2010.

You can ask your inviter to go to local Bureau of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation to enquire it again.
