About:China Visa

I am currently studying in China and want to go to another school for another year. I have a single-entry F visa and want to apply for a 1-year student visa. Can I extend my visa inside Mainland China?

It is hard to extend your visa within Mainland China, your new school have to provide you the requirements for visa application, such as Admission Letter, Jw201 or JW202, then you can return to your home country or Hong Kong or Macau to apply for a Student Visa. But please bear in mind that citizens of the below 33 countries can't apply for China visa in Hong Kong or Macau unless they work or reside in the city: Afghanistan, Tunisia, Algeria, Bangladesh ,Congo, Egypt, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, India, Indonesia, Iran, lraq, Mali, Libya, South Africa, Morocco, Kazakhstan, Kirgizstan, Malaysia, Philippines, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Nepal, Pakistan, Nigeria, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Turkey, Mauritania, Saudi Arab, Sierra Leone, Syria.

My school mentioned that they can provide me with those documents, and that they can take care of the visa extension. However, I need to pay them in advance to let them deal with the visa extension process.
If they can't extend my visa, I will not have a refund. That's what is bothering me. Can I trust them? Can they get me a visa extension if they can provide all the required documents from the Mainland?

PS: I'm not from any of the countries that you have mentioned

It is hard to say whether you can trust them or not, but it is applicable if you do not want to apply a new visa in HK or Macao. Anyway, applicants may be refused visa even if they go to process in person. Good luck.
