About:Chinese Embassy in South Korea

One other Question;

My friend is a Canadian citizen traveling in Korea. He plans on coming to China with me this lunar new year. He is not working, and does not have a visa card in Korea, he only has a valid visitor stamp from the Korean government. Does he need to apply for a special travelers form, or does he just apply for the same travelers visa as us teachers?

He can't apply for a China visa in Korea because he doesn't have Korean Alien Registration Card.
