About:Sanya Travel

I am holding Malaysian passport, working in UK. Been to china a few times. all needed visa. How about to Sanya via Hong kong? I understood no visa required to Hainan if there are 2 person. I will be meeting my girlfriend from, Jilin, China. Unfortunatly she will arrive the day after. That make me single peroson on my arrival. Please advise.
Best regards
james
