About:Terracotta Army, Xian

Why did this Emperor think that stone warriors and horses would protect him? Why did he not order real people to come inside his tomb and guard him? I am confused.

Actually, qinshihuang didn't think that the warrior and horses can protact him after his death, he just wanted to bring what he had alive to him tomb after the death. And he did know that even if he buried real people in his tomb, it would make no sense.

no he thought that they would protect him in his after-life and bringing real people they would die and not be useful he thought that the army would never die and would protect him.
