We wish to travel from Guangzhou to Xiamen January 17th or 18th and Xiamen  to Shenzhen, January 19th. Is it possible to get tickets?  What are departure and arrival times?

The departure and arrival time for trains varies from different trains. For the exact schedule, u would better check by yourself. I heard that Guangzhou railway station will adopt the real-name system on train ticket booking during the Spring Festival Holiday. So, you would better purchase them at train stains or ticket offices.
