About:China Customs Declaration

Hi, I am about to ship some clothing to China. Does anyone know if the following will be taxed? I will be buying Hollister jackets, a pair of UGG boot and a pair of Timberland boot.

Plus, I have 3 coach bags to be shipping too. I was recommended by the shipping lady that I should ship one at a time and then I will be okay in avoiding been taxed. Is this true? If i will be taxed for sure, how is that calculated?

Thanks,

It may be regarded as clothes exported into China if there are many. The tax rate is about 15- 17 percent, according to materials. It seems 17 percent for value added tax. After calclated, if the tax you have to pay is less than 50RMB, it can be avoided to pay.
