About:China Visa

Hello,

I'm wondering if I can enter China with tourist visa and then apply for student visa while I'm there?

I checked the China website in Hong Kong but they said I would have to apply in my own country unless I reside or work in Hong Kong..

It is hard to change your tourist visa into student while while you are in China unless you apply for it through a visa agency, but it is expensive. I'm afraid that you have to exit Mainland China to go to Hong Kong/Macau to apply for China student visa.

if you real study in a normal school, the shool will help get a X visa, i think!
