About:Chinese Embassy in South Korea

I am a US citizen who wants a tourist visa to visit China for Lunar New years. I want to get a multiple entry visa so I can go later in my stay. I have 9 months left on my Alien Registration Card and my E2 Visa. Can I go to the Embassy myself to apply for the visa or do I have to go through a travel agent?

You have to apply for the multiple-entry tourist visa to China through a travel agency. The China embassy in Seoul doesn't accept direct visa application. You can read China Tour Packages(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/package/) as a reference to plan your China trip during Chinese Spring Festival(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/essential/holidays/spring-festival.htm)
