I am planning to go to Diqing during Apr 2011. I recently heard that they are repairing the road from Zhongdian to Diqing and it is very difficult to go there. Will the repairing be finished by Apr 2011.

Oh， I think you  misunderstood it.  Zhongdian is the metropolis of Diqing.

The road to Diqing Meili Snow Mountain has been under construction since the begainning of 2010,no information when will be completed. It's a dirt road currently and available for car.Actually there is another road to Diqing but  takes more time and worse condition.

thank you so much..Mr.Haba..so you mean it has 2 roads to Diqing Meli snow? which road is better? My group plan to hire 4WD car,not a public bus.. How long it will take time?..
