About:Ta'er Monastery

dear sir/madam,
my wife who is working in hongkong wished me to join her. she applied for an invitation at the consulate for 14 days only, (i guess). do i have to get a china visa to lengthen my stay at least 3 months? if not, what do i have to do? im willing to provide my papers to pass at the embassy!

You are not required visa to HK for 14 days, but if you want to stay loonger, you can extend your stay/apply for a visa in HK. It is ok to apply a HK visa in advance, and better fill out the application from with your 30 months requirement. keep in mind that you may get a visa only valid for 14 days also. Anyway, you can get your visa extended im HK when you are there.
